Kandice Gupta

Kandice is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of K&K Financial Group, where she provides expert financial advisory services to businesses, families, and individuals seeking to enhance their financial futures.

Kandice is a 1992 Magna Cum Laude graduate from Jacksonville State University, where she obtained her B.S. in Finance with a minor in Economics. Upon graduation, she began her financial career in management, training, and advisement as regional vice president of an investment firm in Birmingham, AL. After twelve years of honing her skills, Kandice opened her independent boutique-style firm, K&K Financial Group, in 2005, servicing Northeast Alabama.

Kandice believes that building wealth for your family should not be a sales pitch; this vision drove her formation of K&K Financial Group. She has over three decades of experience in the financial services industry and prioritizes teaching clients how to understand the rules of money and lifestyle. She develops personal relationships with clients to understand their current economic situation and short-term and long-term goals.

As an independent financial advisor, Kandice holds a broker-dealer association with Cetera Financial Specialists, with whom she established a partnership in June 2013. Kandice holds multiple professional registrations through Cetera Financial Specialists, including Series 6 (General Securities), Series 63 (State Registration), Series 26 (Principal Registration), and Series 65 (fee-based). Holding her Series 65, Kandice is a Fiduciary Advisor; monitored by the Securities Exchange Commission. She is licensed in life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, variable annuities, property and casualty, and investments. Her professional excellence has been recognized through various accolades: Small Business of the Year in 2010 by the Gadsden City Chamber of Commerce, Woman of the Year in 2011 by the National Association of Professional Women, and she was named in “Who’s Who of Professional Women of America”. Kandice is an active member of the Better Business Bureau; she served on the board of the PFS Women’s Council for six years and holds esteemed recognitions from leading investment firms, including Jackson National Star Council Producers, Masters Council at Prudential Annuities, Advisor Council with Fidelity Investments, Directors Club for LPL Financial for exemplary client service, and actively serves on the Platinum Counsel with Cetera Financial Specialists.

Kandice resides in Southside, Alabama, alongside her husband, Brian, and their five kids: Autumn, Kinsley, Kirsi, Josh, and Lindsey. Their family also includes two dogs, Sadie and Mayzie, as well as a cat named Aubrey. An engaged member of her community, Kandice serves on the financial committee at Southside Baptist Church. Additionally, she is involved with organizations like United Way and Hospice of Alabama, and she teaches cycling part-time at Wilmore Total Fitness.
